Kuala Lumpur International Airport advertising is about to get a lot more interesting. Malaysia Airports has arranged to set up 14 new retail and dining spaces. The extra businesses moving into the airport will bring more traffic and should increase views on any ads in that part of the terminal.

In the last 12 months alone, Kuala Lumpur has seen a 12% increase in passenger traffic, with a 4.4% increase over the past three months, for a total of 23.27 million passengers going through the airport on an annual basis. The impressive leap means more eyes for any advertisers with current campaigns in the airport’s terminals. Much of this traffic comes from Singapore, Jakarta, Bali, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, making it a true melting pot of cultures. It won’t take long for bidders to land the retail outlet spaces with so many potential buyers passing though.
